Hello World
Hello World
The domain name is a bit of a hint.
.md is the Markdown file extension. It’s how engineers write notes, documentation, and READMEs. It’s plain text with just enough structure to be useful. That felt right for what I want to build here.
I’m Antonio Silveira. I’m a CTO. I’ve spent 25 years building engineering teams, scaling systems, and trying to help organizations move faster without breaking (too many) things. Most of what I’ve learned lives in my head, in Slack threads, or in internal documents and notes(some are .md files) that get shared once and then forgotten.
This is where I’m going to start writing it down.
The specific thing I want to explore here is the shift I’m living through right now: what it actually looks like to work in an agentic-first way. Not the hype version. The real version, with the friction and the surprises and the things that don’t work yet.
I have two sides on this journey, my corporate experience leading engineering teams through this transformation and I also run a small ecosystem of AI agents that help me be more productive with communications, execution, brainstorming, and coordination. I use agents to write code, draft messages, research topics, manage my personal calendar, help me with personal travel. I’ve been learning a lot about where agents are genuinely useful, where they need supervision, and where handing something off without understanding the output is a bad idea.
That’s the thread I want to pull on here: what it means to be self-aware about how you use AI, how you build trust with it, and how you stay in the loop without doing all the work yourself.
I’ll share frameworks that have helped me, experiments that worked, ones that didn’t, and the thinking behind the decisions I’m making as I go.
If you’re a technical leader, a builder, or someone trying to figure out how AI agents fit into your workflow, this is probably the right place to follow along.
More soon.
