I’m Antonio Silveira, an engineering leader based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Born and raise in São Paulo, Brazil 🇧🇷

Currently CTO at Attentive and Board Member at Stone.

I like to say that I have been around for some time. 25+ years leading engineering and product teams across SaaS, AI, Streaming Media, Consumer Internet, Ads, Marketing, Social Media. Previously CTO at Nextdoor, VP of Engineering at GoDaddy, and senior engineering leader at Yahoo. I was fortunate to be part of the executive teams that took Nextdoor and GoDaddy public.

Right now, most of my thinking is focused on AI agents and leading teams through this inflection point in our industry. How to build with them, how to work alongside them, and what it means to run an engineering organization that treats agents as first-class execution engines under the direction of engineers. This site is where I share what I’m learning.

I write about agentic first mindset, engineering culture, and the practical side of building AI-first teams and my personal use of agents to help me be more productive. I plan on sharing the real stuff, with all the mistakes included.
